Forum Log-In Issues

I've had a few reports of members having issues with their passwords not being accepted. I'm working to resolve the issue and will post an update this evening. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Re: Website Migration & Redesign

Well, it took a fair bit more effort than I thought but I've migrated everything to my new web server and the new site is fully active. One thing that's neat is that the forum and webpage are now linked. If you have a forum account you can use that username/password to enter comments into each blog ...

Website Migration & Redesign

As some of you know, I've been working for quite some time on a complete redesign of my website. My goal has been to modernize the design, improve compatibility across browsers and mobile devices, enhance site navigation, and make it easier to publish new blog posts. After a lot of time and effort t...

Re: Berrrrr. Thats cold

We had to pay for all that warm October sometime. We had the warmest October ever here in the Northeast. It was great for getting work done on the Corvette! :) The weather has definitely turned now though and it's been a bit of a shock to the system. The local weathermen say that almost all of the 1...

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

Well, I guess the good news is that they installed the windshield today. The bad news is that I really think it is going to leak. It does come wioth a lifetime leak warranty, but I don't have a lot of confidence in the first install. They did a great job fitting it up and applying the sealant betwe...

Re: '65 Coupe Resto-Mod and '68 Full Custom Restoration

Looking great, Bob. The Oshpo is good stuff - it's essentially phosphoric acid which converts rust to iron phosphate which is very stable. A while back there was a chemical supplier around my parts that solid straight phosphoric acid. I used to use that straight which worked great, especially for pa...

Sounds like a way more productive than I had.

Bundle up - it's getting cold stateside, especially over the past week. We were spoiled with a warm fall. Sounds like we'll all be paying for it before long.

Re: What to do first?

Glad to hear your making some progress. I had a lot of fun building my chassis. It was dirty work but it came together pretty good and you can really see your progress at the end of each day.

Re: Greetings From Beamsville Ontario

Glad to hear you got the windshield removed in one piece - I wasn't so lucky. But, in hindsight, after seeing how many razor sharp splinters the original broke into when I removed it I think I'll feel better sitting behind my new windshield constructed from safety glass... Or maybe I just say that t...
